1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Plato Tech ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the Plato MedScribe platform and services.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access our services.

2. Description of Services

Plato MedScribe provides AI-powered medical documentation services, including:

Ambient AI recording and transcription of clinical consultations
Automated generation of clinical notes and documentation
Patient-friendly visit summaries
EHR integration capabilities
Multi-language support for medical terminology

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

Be a licensed healthcare professional or authorized representative of a healthcare organization
Be at least 18 years of age
Have the authority to enter into these Terms
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Promptly update any changes to your information
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans (Basic, Professional, Enterprise) with different features and pricing. Details are available on our pricing page.

5.2 Payment Terms

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
Payment is due at the start of each billing period
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice

5.3 Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 14-day free trial. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless cancelled.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user of Plato MedScribe, you agree to:

Use the service only for lawful purposes
Obtain appropriate patient consent before recording consultations
Review and verify all AI-generated documentation for accuracy
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations
Not share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
Not attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the service
Not use the service in any way that could harm patients or the healthcare system

7. Medical Disclaimer

Important: Plato MedScribe is a documentation assistance tool. It is NOT:

A substitute for professional medical judgment
A diagnostic or treatment recommendation system
A replacement for clinical decision-making

Healthcare providers remain solely responsible for patient care decisions and must review all generated documentation for accuracy and completeness.

8. Intellectual Property

The Plato MedScribe platform, including its software, design, logos, and content, is owned by Plato Tech and protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all clinical documentation generated through your use of the service. We do not claim any ownership rights to your patient data or clinical notes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plato Tech shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Errors or omissions in AI-generated content
Service interruptions or technical failures
Actions taken based on generated documentation

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plato Tech and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

Your access to the service will be discontinued
You may export your data within 30 days
Outstanding payment obligations remain in effect
Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, depending on your location of service.
