By accessing or using MedScribe's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

Service Description

MedScribe provides AI-powered medical transcription services designed to convert audio recordings of patient encounters into structured medical documentation. Our services include:

• Real-time audio transcription
• Medical terminology recognition and formatting
• EHR system integration
• Secure cloud storage and processing

User Responsibilities

As a user of MedScribe, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Ensure you have appropriate consent to record patient encounters
• Review all transcriptions for accuracy before using in patient care
• Comply with all applicable healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
• Use the service only for lawful medical documentation purposes

Accuracy and Liability

While MedScribe strives for high accuracy in transcriptions, AI technology is not perfect. You acknowledge that:

• All transcriptions must be reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional before use
• MedScribe is a documentation tool and does not provide medical advice
• You retain full responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of medical records
• MedScribe is not liable for errors in transcription or clinical decisions based on transcriptions

Subscription and Payment

MedScribe operates on a subscription model with the following terms:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your selected plan
• Payment is due at the beginning of each billing period
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are provided for unused portions of annual subscriptions
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

Data Ownership and Security

You retain all rights to your medical data and patient records. MedScribe:

• Does not claim ownership of your transcriptions or medical data
• Uses your data only to provide and improve our services
• Implements industry-standard security measures
• Provides Business Associate Agreements (BAA) as required by HIPAA
• Allows you to export or delete your data at any time

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will be discontinued
• You will have 30 days to export your data
• We will delete your data according to our retention policy
• Prorated refunds may be provided for annual subscriptions

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedScribe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
